Convention Grant

The Alpha Psi Alumni Association Convention Grant helps support members of the active Alpha Psi Chapter as they represent our chapter at the Southwest District and/or National Conventions.

We recognize the value of attending convention as an opportunity to learn, grow as leaders, connect with brothers and sisters from across the district and nation, and bring new ideas back to Alpha Psi. This grant is designed to help reduce the financial barrier of attending these important events.

Grant funding may assist with convention-related expenses, including hotel accommodations and other eligible travel or registration expenses, as determined by the Association’s Board of Directors. Funding may support one or more representatives of the Alpha Psi Chapter.

Applications will open approximately one month before convention season. Specific application deadlines and requirements will be announced by the Association.

Brother to Brother Support Scholarship

At Alpha Psi, we believe that brotherhood means being there for one another, especially when times get tough.

The Brother to Brother Support Scholarship provides financial assistance to an active brother of Kappa Kappa Psi who is a member of the WTAMU Band and may be experiencing financial challenges while pursuing their education. Support may help with school supplies, educational expenses, or other needs that can make the college experience a little easier.

We understand that college can be challenging, and sometimes a little extra support can make a meaningful difference. Through this scholarship, the Alpha Psi Alumni Association strives to carry forward the spirit of brotherhood that brought us together in Kappa Kappa Psi.

Service, fellowship, and meaningful engagement

The Alpha Psi Alumni Association is committed to keeping our brotherhood connected through service, fellowship, and meaningful engagement. Throughout the year, we provide opportunities for alumni and active members to come together, give back, and continue supporting the Alpha Psi Chapter and the WTAMU band programs.

Our programs are shaped by the interests and needs of our members and may vary from year to year. These opportunities may include:

Service & Giving

We believe that our commitment to music and our community continues beyond our time as students. Our service initiatives may include volunteering at music and community events, organizing donation and charitable drives, and providing financial support to organizations, community efforts, or the active chapter. Past and potential opportunities may include supporting events such as the Greater Southwest Music Festival, organizing food or donation drives, and assisting active members attending official Kappa Kappa Psi events.

Fellowship & Connection

Brotherhood doesn’t end when we leave WTAMU. Our social programs create opportunities for alumni to reconnect, build new friendships, and stay involved with the Alpha Psi Chapter. From seasonal gatherings and alumni socials to events held alongside the active chapter, these opportunities help keep the spirit of Alpha Psi alive long after graduation.

Whether you’re volunteering, attending an event, or simply catching up with a fellow brother, our programs are all about staying connected, giving back, and continuing the legacy of Alpha Psi.
